Karim Benzema talked to Lyon's in house television station and addressed his potential return to Ligue 1 later in his career.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema talked to his former team, Olympique Lyon, during a special television show arranged by the Ligue 1 side during the coronavirus crisis and expressed his intention to end his career when he began at Groupama Stadium yet added that it was not yet time to draw a curtain on his tenure at Bernabeu.

Benzema transferred from Lyon to Real Madrid for €35 million in 2009 and went on to net 241 times in all competitions, making him sixth on the LaLiga all-time list of scorers.

I am what I am today thanks to Lyon, Benzema said, defining Les Gones as the squad he has in his heart.
