The World Football Association (FIFA) have announced temporary rules to allow this year's player transfer window to open.
According to FIFA, the move is part of an effort to revive the football field, which is in crisis due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The player transfer window usually does not open until the season is over.
These new rules came after a three-month break due to a global epidemic that delayed the resumption of several European football leagues. It is confirmed that the running leagues won't finish the end of August.
The new rules, issued by FIFA, allow nations to announce their own transfer window opening and closing dates, but are required to comply with the necessary guidelines and regulatory changes proposed by FIFA.
According to Sky Sports, the British Football Association is preparing to open the summer transfer window for its league from August to October. Meanwhile, the French Football Federation has already opened the transfer window on Monday. The federation, which canceled the league due to the Corona epidemic, opened the window sooner than other countries's leagues.
The Italian Football Association has also announced a player transfer window earlier this month. Players will be able to sign contracts in Italy from September 1 to October 5. Meanwhile, FIFA has announced that a player can play football in three different clubs in the same season.
